Visual Arts

We Are Beauty Creators Through the visual arts, students are encouraged to develop the gifts God has given them while learning to see beauty, detail, and meaning in the world around them. Visual arts experiences help students grow not only in artistic skill, but also in creativity, confidence, problem-solving, and self-expression. Whether students are experimenting with new materials in elementary school or developing advanced artistic techniques in high school, we want students to see art as one of the many ways they can glorify God and serve others through their gifts.

Students develop creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic confidence as they grow through each stage of their CWC experience.

Elementary Art

Elementary students participate in art as part of their regular classroom experience. Through hands-on projects and creative exploration, students begin developing foundational artistic skills while learning to express ideas and creativity in meaningful ways.

Middle School Art

Middle school students continue growing in creativity and artistic understanding through classroom art experiences and creative projects. Art provides students with opportunities to develop patience, focus, and creativity while learning to appreciate the gifts and perspectives of others.

These opportunities allow students to further develop artistic techniques, creativity, and personal expression while exploring art in greater depth.

Art Club

Art Club also provides students with opportunities to build community, encourage one another creatively, and participate in artistic experiences beyond the classroom. Each year the Art Club participates in the Trailways Conference Student Art Day competition.

Celebrating Student Creativity

Throughout the year, student artwork may be displayed throughout the school and community, providing opportunities to celebrate creativity, growth, and artistic expression at every age level. Be sure to mark your calendars for our annual Celebration of the Arts and Art Walk event hosted at CWC each May.
