Musical Arts

Musical Arts

At CWC, we believe music is one of the many ways students can reflect the creativity of God and use their gifts to encourage and serve others. Through singing, instrumental music, and performance opportunities, students develop musical skills while also growing in confidence, discipline, collaboration, and expression. Music is woven throughout the student experience at CWC, giving students opportunities to participate, perform, and share their talents with the school and broader community.

Musical Growth at Every Stage

Our students grow in skills and discover the joy of music together.

Elementary Music

Building foundations and joyful participation

Elementary students participate in music as part of their regular school experience. Through singing, rhythm, and performance, students begin developing foundational musical skills. In Fifth Grade, our students also have the opportunity to participate in band.

At this stage, music is focused on participation, exploration, and building a love for music.

Our Elementary students’ annual performances include:

  • Elementary Christmas Program
  • Spring Musical
  • Lite Concert - Middle School and Fifth Grade only

Middle School Music

Growing in skill and performance

Middle school students have opportunities to participate in Choir, Orchestra, Band, and Solo/Ensemble performances. As students grow, they begin developing greater musical understanding, performance skills, and responsibility within an ensemble setting.

At this stage, music provides a chance to build confidence and discipline, develop leadership and accountability and learn a deeper appreciation for the gift of music.

New Generation Singers

Using music to glorify God

New Generations Singers (New G's) is Central Wisconsin Christian’s advanced vocal ensemble for high school students. Participation is by audition and is designed for students who demonstrate a strong commitment to musical excellence and leadership.

In addition to performing at school concerts events, New G's serves throughout the community by sharing music that reflects the hope we have in Christ. Through these opportunities, students develop their musical abilities while learning to use their gifts to serve others.
