What We Believe

At Central Wisconsin Christian School, we believe Jesus Christ has lordship over all of creation. He is at work renewing all things—our hearts, our minds, our relationships, and the way we learn about His world. Because of this, we see education as more than gaining knowledge. It is part of God’s bigger story of restoration.

The World We Are Living In

We partner with families to help students not only succeed academically, but also grow into thoughtful, faithful people who are ready to live out their calling in God’s world.

Created in God’s Image

We believe every child is created in God’s image, deeply loved, and filled with God-given potential.

God created the world with the power of His Word. Everything we study is part of His glory.

As image reflectors, we are called to cultivate, steward, and serve in God’s world.

A World Broken by Sin

We recognize that our world is broken. Sin affects every part of life, including how we think, live, and relate to God and one another.

Because of this, students need truth, wisdom, grace, and hope.

We believe all people are in need of the salvation provided in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is Renewing All Things

Through Jesus Christ, God is restoring what has been broken. He brings truth where there is confusion, healing where there is brokenness, and purpose where there is uncertainty.

That hope shapes everything we do.

We believe Jesus is Savior and Lord over all of life, and we are called to serve Him in all we do.

The Foundation of Our Beliefs

Central Wisconsin Christian School is operated by parents and fellow Christians who desire to provide a Christ-centered education based on the Bible as God’s inspired revelation, and to teach from a distinctly Reformed perspective.

These beliefs shape our understanding of God, the world, and education:

A group of people sit and stand in a modern lounge area.

  • We believe in one God who exists in three equal but distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created us, knows us, and invites us into a relationship with Him.

  • We believe the Bible is God’s Holy Infallible Word, through which He reveals Himself and guides us in truth, shaping how we live, learn, and grow.

  • We believe God created this vast universe by the power of His Word. All things are of God, through God, and unto God; everything we study is part of His creation. As His image bearers, we have a calling over creation to bring restoration through Him for the coming of His Kingdom and the glorification of His name.

  • We believe that man has fallen into sin and is in need of the salvation provided in Jesus Christ. Sin alienates us from our Creator, and affects every part of life, including how we think and live. Because of this, we all need God’s grace and truth.

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Savior and Lord over all of life and we are called to serve Him in all we undertake. Through Jesus, God is restoring what has been broken. He brings light, truth, and renewal to our hearts and to the world—and that includes education.

  • We believe God rules over all things and is faithfully working out His purposes in the world. As His image bearers we are called to serve God, to know Jesus as our personal Savior, to consecrate the whole of human life to God, to love all people and to be stewards of our God-given gifts.

What This Means for Education

Our desire is that students leave CWC not only well-educated, but deeply rooted in faith—ready to glorify God and serve in His work in the world.

Learning is Meaningful

Education at CWC aims to interpret all aspects of life through the truth of Scripture. Bible is more than a class or something discussed in chapel; the truths of the Bible are woven into every subject and activity.

Students are Known and Valued

Each child is uniquely gifted and called by God. We seek to guide, challenge, and nurture students to serve in His Kingdom.

Growth is Academic and Spiritual

We care about minds and hearts.

Teaching is a Calling

Our faculty members are Christians committed to biblically compatible instruction and high quality scholarship.

School is a Partnership

We work alongside parents and the Christian community in the advancement of God’s Kingdom through our students’ education.

CWC welcomes students from all Christian traditions. We are grateful for the diversity within the body of Christ and the opportunity to learn from one another as we grow together in faith.

Come See What Formation Looks Like

We work to make sure our students are well-educated and deeply rooted in faith.

Our students are ready to glorify God and serve in His world.
