Sarah Schuringa

Sarah and Greg Schuringa are newer to the CWC community, having moved here in 2021 when Greg took the call to be the Pastor at First CRC Waupun. Pastor Greg and Sarah have four daughters, two sons-in-law, and two granddaughters. Their oldest, Olivia and Isaac Dykema live in Grand Rapids, MI; Hannah and Brady Loerop live in Tinley Park, IL, Sophia (CWC class of ‘25) attends Calvin University, and Adrianna is currently a student at CWC. Sarah graduated from Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper) and Calvin Theological Seminary with degrees in Educational Ministry. She is employed as Professor and Program Assistant at the Trinity College Program in the Fox Lake Prison. She currently teaches High School Catechism, Children's Worship, and leads Women's Bible Study at First CRC.

I received the gift of an excellent education and it shaped who I am today. My degrees, gifts, passions, and life experiences have largely been in Christian education, so I am happy and honored to serve on the board of CWC where Christ is central and where students are surrounded by teachers, coaches, and staff who love the Lord and model grace and godliness."
