Why attend?
Meet friends and raise money. Did you notice a credit on your tuition statement from the Harvest Auction? Funds raised from the auction directly affect your tuition balance. Maybe you aren't in a position to bid on items. That's ok! Come check it out and have some fun with your CWC community.
Do I need to pre-register to attend?
No, but it's helpful. Registration for the auction is free, and doing so ahead of time allows our committee to better prepare. Just visit
www.cwc.auction.com and click on "Get Tickets."
Wait...I did that and now it says I have to pay? I thought you said it was free.
It is! However, if you'd like to enjoy a meal before the auction, there is a cost. The cost of the meal ($20 if purchased in advance and $25 at the door) covers the cost of the meal being served. If you do not plan to dine with us, then just choose the "Live Auction Only" option for registration. You will not recieve or need a physical ticket to attend. Once you're registered, you will just give your name at registration on September 18!
What's the meal this year?
Glad you asked! Appetizers will be bacon wrapped water chestnuts and caprese skewers, followed by a meal of grilled pork tenderloin, arugula salad, baby red potatoes and green beans. We heard there's even cheesecake for dessert!
That sounds delicious! And I love to grill! Do you need help with that?
Funny you should ask - we do! We're looking for grillers (preferrably with their own grills) to help the morning of the auction. If that's something you or someone you know would like to learn more about please contact auction@wearecwc.org.
I can't attend in person but still want to support. What can I do?
If you'd like to support by donating an item, please reach out to our Auction team at auction@wearecwc.org.
If you'd like to support by purchasing items, our silent auction bidding is online. Bidding opens on Sunday, September 13 and runs through the live auction event on September 18.
Do I have to dress up in the theme of the event?
You do not need to dress in black tie unless you want to. Dress in your best or pull out that old tuxedo tshirt - we'll welcome you either way!
