Let Your Light Shine Golf Outing: In Memory of Laura Ten Pass

For more than 25 years, Laura Ten Pass served as the music teacher at CWC, where she inspired generations of students to discover their God-given gifts through music. Whether she was teaching elementary students their first songs, directing choirs, accompanying countless soloists and ensembles on the piano, or leading worship through music, Laura's passion was unmistakable. She believed that music was a gift from God and encouraged every student to let their light shine.

Laura was also known for her unwavering faith and joyful spirit. Even through her courageous 13-year battle with colon cancer, she continued to shine the light of Christ, encouraging those around her with hope and perseverance. Her life was a beautiful example of what it means to faithfully use the gifts God has given us to bless others.

To honor Laura's legacy, her family will be hosting the second annual "Let Your Light Shine" Golf Outing on August 15 at Old Hickory Golf Club. All proceeds from this year's outing will support the Music Department at CWC—continuing the work that Mrs. T loved. 

We wanted to share this opportunity with our CWC families and alumni - many of whom were taught by Mrs. T and loved her dearly. If you'd like to get involved in the outing, there's a few ways to support it:
